The Gradual End

In our binary world of approximation we want to perceive everything with certainty. On, off, 0, 1, is it there or its not, is something alive or dead. But in truth nothing in nature is binary. From the point of creation of life and birth to our death. No one can define the exact time when we come into existence hence the decade old abortion debate. Similarly we cannot define the time when we go out of existence either. Death begins much before it begins to manifest in the physical body with the death of our curiosity, ability and desire to learn, to change, to improve into a better version of ourselves. We might even have some control on when it begins. For some the path is tempting, easier and almost an excuse...a resignation, for others its not a choice due to other limitations. The mind and the physical body are reflections of each other. Rigidity in one often reflects and manifests in the other. Flexibility in one helps the other to be flexible. 

To me the end begins when I stop learning and being curious. Rest is just a process...
